Team Roster
- A maximum of 18 players will be allowed, except for the U8, U9 & U 10 division, where a maximum of 14 players will be allowed. Rules governing roster size are the same as RDYSL.
- U8 thru U10 will play 7 vs. 7. U11 teams will play 9 vs. 9 on a reduced size field.
- All teams must be registered with their State or Provincial association.
- All players must present a valid player pass displaying: name, date of birth, and a photograph.
- Roster must reflect the team as an organized unit in an established league.
- A maximum of three (3) guest players may be added to the roster to replace players who cannot participate in the tournament.
- Player passes, certified roster and medical release forms need to be with the team at all times.

Games & Times
- All games will begin as close to schedule time as possible. For purposes of this Tournament a running clock will be utilized. There will be no clock stoppage for minor injuries. In the event of a major injury which delays the game in excess of five minutes, the referee may add stoppage time. The addition of stoppage time due to a major injury is in the sole discretion of the referee, and may not exceed five minutes.
- All U8-U13 divisions will play two 25-minute halves with a 3 minute halftime. m U14-U17 will play two 30 minute halves.
- In the event of a tie (Championship games only) there will be two 8-minute overtimes. This is not sudden death and both overtime periods will be played. Should the score remain tied at the conclusion of the overtime period the game will be decided by FIFA penalty kicks.
Rules
- All tournament play will be governed by FIFA rules unless noted otherwise.
- All referees decisions are final.
- Any protest must be submitted to the tournament committee with a $50 fee. Fee will be refunded if protest is upheld.
- Anything not addressed in the rules will be at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee, whose decisions will be final.
- U8-U10 (7 vs. 7) games are participation only.
Weather Policy
Any game delays and/or changes caused by the weather will be determined in the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee. Communication of changes will be made by cell phone and/or tournament website. The Committee may delay, move, shorten or cancel games. In the event one or more games are canceled, Champions and Finalists will be determined based upon points achieved and the Tournament tie breakers. The tournament has no responsibility to reschedule games or provide substitute matches due to a disruption to the tournament schedule. In the event the Tournament is canceled in its entirety, refunds will be made on a pro rata basis to each team after tournament expenses have been paid in full.
Registration
Teams will register on Wednesday, June 11th, at Senator Mike Nozzolio Indoor Soccer Complex on 865 Publishers Parkway from 4 pm - 9 pm. Out of town teams may register Saturday, June 14th, in the morning, with prior approval. Please contact Tournament Director if there is an issue.
Directions: Take Route 104 to the Five Mile Line Road exit, go north to first right, Publishers Parkway.
Qualifying Rounds
For Any Division with 5 or 7 teams, each team will play 4 games. The Champion and Finalist will be determined by the number of points awarded in round robin play. In the event of a tie, the tournament tie breakers rules will be applied (head to head will only be used if 2 teams are tied; if more than 2 teams are tied in the standings, head to head will not be a factor). Trophies will be awarded at Tournament Headquarters to the Champions and Finalists immediately following the conclusion of the last game in the Division.
For divisions with Championship Games the standings will be determined by points:
Win - 3 points
Tie -1 point
Shutout - 1 /2 point (does not apply to U-8-U 10.)
Tiebreakers will be:
- Winner of head to head game between the two teams. This applies only if there are two teams tied. In the event of 3 or more teams tied proceed to the B tiebreaker below.
- Most games won
- Goal differential with a maximum of 3 goals/game
- Least goals against
- Goals for, divided by goals against, ratio
- FIFA penalty kicks
Forfeit
A team unable to field 7 players at scheduled starting time will forfeit match. Three points will be awarded to opponent. The tournament has no responsibility to reschedule games or provide substitute matches in the event of a forfeit or in the event a team withdraws.
Ball Size/Jersey Color
Under 8 thru Under 12: #4 Ball
Under 13 thru Under 17: #5 Ball
Each team to provide their own game ball when schedule declares them as home team.
In the event of a conflict with jersey color (as determined by referee) the team designated as home must change to their alternate color.
Substitutions
- After goal is scored
- Halftime
- Referee’s discretion after an injury
- Prior to throw-in in your favor
- Prior to a goal kick
Red Card
In the event a coach or player receives a red card or ejection during the tournament, they must sit out the next tournament game. If the game was the last game of the tournament for them, they must sit out the next US Youth Soccer sanctioned game to include a league, friendly, or tournament game. The NYSW State Cup, USYSA National Championship and NYSW President’s Cup are excluded from this policy.
Alcohol, Tobacco and Pets are not allowed on Tournament grounds.
